JOB OPENINGS
*All positions are 1st shift with mandatory overtime when required. No Sundays. Paid weekly. Benefits (health, dental, vision & life) available after 30 days of hire. Vacation available after 90 days. Incentive day for perfect attendance in a calendar month. Pay will be based on skill and experience.
1. MIG Welder/Fabricator
– 3 years experience preferred
– Ability to pass all position weld tests (horizontal, vertical, and overhead)
– Ability to stick weld, preferred
– Ability to adjust welder
– Ability to read blue prints to meet drawing specifications
– When necessary, temporary work at our Oregon, OH location may be required. Company truck provided; plus incentive pay.
– Must be willing to travel, if necessary
2. Shipping & Receiving
– Forklift experience required
– Experience with loading/unloading trucks – Ensuring all shipping documentation is complete and accurate – Counting items received or shipped and check against packing list – Organizing inventory – Distributing materials to proper locations – Checking-in parts to a blueprint. Experience with blueprints is strongly preferred – Experience required with tape measure, calipers and micrometers – Precise and accurate measurements are a must. – Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment – Physical work – Outside and inside work3. Weld Inspector
– Work with management and production personnel to ensure quality products
– Conduct in-process and final inspections to meet print and American Welding Society Specifications
– Monitor workstations to comply with Quality Assurance Inspection and Test Plans Proficient in reading, understanding and following procedures, drawings and utilizing measuring devices
– Weld inspecting experience, required
– Auditing experience, preferred
– Must be: Detailed oriented, Self-motivated, and able to Multi-task
– Moderate knowledge of word and excel
4. Maintenance
– General knowledge of shop maintenance preferred, including hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, mechanical & welding power supplies and wire feeders.
– Must be able to pass a background check, drug screen, and have a valid driver’s license.-
5. MACHINIST
– Ability to follow instructions
– Forklift and overhead crane experience preferred
– Must be able to read prints
– Ability to independently operate or have the ability to learn how to operate lathes, drill press, hydraulic press, Bridgeport milling machines
– Familiar with CNC lathe and mills is a must
6. General Laborer
– Ability to follow instructions
– Forklift and overhead crane experience preferred
– Experience with blue print reading preferred
– Stenciling railcars
– Assemble railcar parts
– Painting experience is a plus
– Physical work
7. Material Handler/Forklift Operator
– Forklift experience required
– Experience with loading/unloading trucks
– Organizing inventory
– Distributing materials to proper locations for production purposes
– Physical work
– Outside and inside work
8. Buyer
– Ordering parts and components for production from bills of materials. Includes: Maintaining vendor files, maintaining files for multiple quotations, issuing purchase orders, tracking status of purchase orders, resolving material claims with vendors (for non-conforming material and corrective/preventative action)
– Reviewing requisitions and issuing purchase orders for equipment, shop supplies and consumables.
– Maintaining relations with vendors, seek out and develop new vendors, conduct vendor visits when required.
– Resolve shortage/overage issues with suppliers.
– Proactively execute multiple projects, while staying organized and committed to deadlines.
– Self-motivated, with commitment to continuous improvement
– Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
– Ability to interface effectively with Accounting, Manufacturing, QA and Engineering personnel
– Proficient with Microsoft Excel
– Experience with QuickBooks is preferred
– Salary commensurate with experience
